Every day many of us spend the time on urgent but low priority tasks while the most important tasks get put off until another day — a day that often never comes. Over time, this can lead to missed opportunities and a feeling that time is slipping away. MyLifeOrganized (MLO) helps you break free from this cycle by organizing and prioritizing your tasks, ensuring you focus on what truly matters.
MLO apps help you plan your time in such a way that you accomplish your most important goals as quickly as possible. Organize your goals, projects and tasks into a tree and MyLifeOrganized will generate a simple To Do list of actions for you. This list is sorted in order of priority and automatically updated, showing only the tasks that require your attention right now.
Here is an example of how MyLifeOrganized can help you to achieve your goals:
Outline your tasks
Easily structure your goals, projects, and tasks into a clear, unlimited hierarchy.
First, add all tasks you need to do.
Then, if a task seems too big, break it down into smaller subtasks.
Continue to break them down until you have reasonably sized, actionable steps.
The Outline tab shows all tasks by default. Use it for a clear big picture view.
Ask yourself, "What are the most important tasks?"
For each task, you can set its importance in relation to its parent task or project in the outline. To do this, simply adjust the Importance slider.
Note: In many To-Do applications, setting a task's priority determines its absolute ranking against all other tasks. However, in MLO, you should only consider how important it is to complete the task relatively to completing its parent project. If you adjust a project's importance, all associated subtasks will automatically update their positions in the to-do list — no need to modify each subtask's importance individually.
Assign appropriate contexts for the tasks
Many tasks on your list can only be completed in specific contexts (places, tools or situations). For example, writing a novel requires access to your laptop. Create a context called @Laptop, and assign it to relevant tasks. Later, you can filter your to-do list based on your current context. For instance, when you're at your favorite coffee shop with your laptop, you can dedicate time to writing your novel.

This approach helps you focus on tasks that need your immediate attention based on your current context.
Automatically generate your ordered To-Do list
Once you've added your goals, projects, and tasks into the Outline, MyLifeOrganized automatically generates a prioritized To-Do list. It displays Active Actions — tasks that need your immediate attention.
Tip. Scheduled tasks will appear in the list only when their time comes. For instance, if you set a Start Date for a task for tomorrow, it won’t show in To-Do today — but it will be there tomorrow.
You can easily filter the To-Do List by context to further tailor your view.
Each time you complete a task, the list refreshes, staying up-to-date.
The To-Do List is sorted by priority, so you can work on what truly matters and effectively combat procrastination.
