Additionally, we have introduced a new feature that many users have requested: THE PRICE COLLECTION. You can scan or search for items to find out their prices across various stores. What is the standard price?

The government has encouraged services that assist consumers in Sweden with comparing food prices from different shops, and our app is our effort to aid you in this task. Although it’s challenging, we hope that our efforts will be beneficial for you. Currently, it is in Beta testing and features a straightforward login process, while being completely free.

Here’s how you can use the app:

*Select your favorite retailers.

The pricing feature:

*Scan or look up items you wish to purchase. View prices at your selected stores. Save those items. Once you have saved at least five products, we will analyze the price variations on your overall purchase across compatible stores. Choose a retailer and create your shopping list. It's that easy!

"Regular" Price Monitoring:

*By clicking on a retailer, you'll see all the available offers. The average discount is an impressive 20%.

*Set alerts for specific items such as chicken fillets, beef fillets, diapers, or coffee, and receive notifications immediately when those products are on sale at your chosen stores.

*From current offers, you can access simple recipes courtesy of Arla Mat. Just tap on the chef's hat icon!

*Easily incorporate offers and recipes into your shopping list, adding your items as needed. You may also share the list with family and friends, allowing everyone to add, remove, and jot down notes in real time.

About our Price Monitoring Service:

We are a team of "price hunters" at the Food Price Collection located in Falkenberg. Each week, we compile roughly 200,000 new offers from over 3,000 retailers nationwide. We have been doing this since 2010, initiated by Håkan and Ulf, who grew weary of the excessive paper ads that often went straight to waste. Therefore, you can opt for "Advertising? No thanks!" on your mailbox (we provide complimentary stickers) and still stay informed about fantastic deals.

Furthermore, we gather millions of regular prices from numerous stores throughout Sweden, enabling us to introduce Priskollen within the app. This is a complex task and not every price is currently accessible, but we are committed to transparency and improving the service gradually for mutual assistance.

We sustain all complimentary consumer services through relevant advertisements within the app and by compiling aggregated campaign and price data, which we sell to industry stakeholders and organizations like the Riksbank. We would never disclose or trade personal information.

About Matpriskollen

We are Sweden's largest independent and also completely FREE food price app. We have been around since 2010. We got tired of the piles of paper advertising from ICA, Coop, Willys, Lidl and others. If everyone said ``NO thanks to paper advertising``, we would, according to the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation, save a whopping 3 million trees and 300,000 tons of carbon dioxide per year. Without the flyers, however, you miss out on all the great extra prices. We have deep knowledge of the industry and the average discount in the flyers is almost 25%! But it is impossible to check and structure the information. So that is why we started Matpriskollen.

We are happy and proud people who work for you! We print out all the grocery store flyers from all over Sweden! From early Monday morning, Matpriskollen is filled with offers and we work as fast as we can. There are about 200,000 new offers every week. Users tell us how they save SEK 1,000/month by using the app. We are delighted!

Through years of dialogue with users, we have managed to develop the app with more smart features. From offers to selected recipes from Arla Köket, an even smarter shopping list where you get the goods after the customer visit in the store! You can easily share lists with friends.

Extra prices are one thing, but the regular price level differs a lot between different store formats. That is why we do advanced grocery bag surveys to see how big the price difference is between different chains for different household types.

Stores that care about their customers and the environment, make a cooperation agreement with us and then they are guaranteed to be included from Monday 00.01. Therefore, let us know if offers from your store are missing! The more people who use this app, the more money the stores save by not having to print flyers. With more users, we also get even better offers from suppliers and stores.
