MasterClass: Become More You - Learn from experts

Hey, this app or service is super cool. I'm a writer and I love how there are various types of writers and mediums available that suit my taste. My small suggestions are: it would be great if we could download classes to watch offline, and also have the option to listen to classes instead of just watching them. Some classes are more visual, so watching is better for learning, but being able to listen while on the go and then re-watch later would be awesome too.

This app is amazing, getting lessons from the top minds worldwide in a way that's simple to grasp. It's one of the finest for helping you progress faster than local lessons, and at a lower cost. Perfect for picking up new skills or enhancing ones you're already into. It's like a MasterClass in your pocket.

Oh, it's interesting. I noticed a lot of improvements in the features since the first time I used this service. But there's something weird with the latest update - you can't hit play during a class! Once the lesson starts by itself, but if you pause it, the play button stops responding. It just stays stuck until you exit and begin again. This makes the app impossible to use. The ideas are cool, but the interface isn't working properly. By the way, I did report the problem, but unfortunately, it didn't get fixed.

The courses are amazing! To fully enjoy them, you should consider getting the All-Access pass. But there's a downside - the app is awful! It has its limitations which can be frustrating: 1.You can't download videos for offline watching, handy when you're in an area with poor signal or no Wi-Fi. 2.You're unable to turn off the screen and just listen to the courses while driving, especially useful if it's mainly people talking in the videos. It would be beneficial to absorb the content without needing to keep staring at the screen.

Ugh, it's annoying! I don't like how whenever I leave the app and return, the video I was watching always restarts. And the audio doesn't seem to function independently; it relies on other apps with audio running simultaneously. When I shut down all other apps, I can't hear any sound in my car. Besides these issues, everything else seems okay. The video resolution is excellent, and the audio quality is clear once it starts working.

So, the content on this app is really good, but using the app is a complete disaster. When you watch lessons, it doesn't remember where you left off or how far you got. And if you try to cast to your TV, it won't automatically play the next lesson, so you have to keep reopening the app and searching for the next one. At times, you can't even go back to the list of lessons, forcing you to restart the whole process by finding the course and then picking the next lesson. It's incredibly frustrating, especially considering how pricey the service is.

The app isn't very good even though the content is amazing. It's difficult to move around and see all the lessons in different courses. When I'm in the car, the audio mode stops and freezes sometimes. Also, some videos have a checklist for bookmarks while others just have a bookmark icon. I hope the app gets better in the future because it's not really showing off the awesome content well.

On October 3, 2023, I gave a 3-star rating because I faced the same freezing problem with Chromecast, just like another user. The playback would stop after one or two minutes of playing. In the update on October 3, it seems that Chromecasting from my iPad works fine, indicating that the issue might be specific to Android. Moving to February 16, 2024, I now rated the app with 2 stars. Despite the latest upgrade on Android, the chromecasting feature still freezes after a minute of playback.

The MasterClass content is top-notch with five stars! However, the app could use some enhancements with three stars. A useful feature like being able to pause playback from various sources instead of just the screen pause button would be great; it's a common function in other video and audio apps (for example, using a play button on headphones). Additionally, the audio-only mode needs a general revamp as you need to manipulate things a lot with your hands, which isn't very hands-free for managing basic audio controls.

I really like the content, but using the app can be frustrating. It keeps freezing and you have to handle your phone very gently. If you move too quickly, the app freezes. Initially, I thought it was the wifi causing the issue, but that's not the case. None of my other apps that play audio have this problem. While I am enjoying the content, having to repeatedly restart my phone or close and open the app, then trying to find where I left off because it moved to a different lesson, is quite troublesome. Please find a solution to this issue.
