Founder of Korzinka Supermarket Chain Zafar Khashimov Awarded the Honorary Title of “Distinguished Entrepreneur of the Republic of Uzbekistan”

18.08.2025, Tashkent, Uzbekistan — The honorary title is awarded to visionary and enterprising business leaders who have made a significant contribution to the country’s economic development and who possess extensive experience in entrepreneurship.

Zafar Khashimov, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Korzinka, has been awarded the honorary title and badge of distinction “Distinguished Entrepreneur of the Republic of Uzbekistan” (Oʻzbekiston Respublikasida xizmat koʻrsatgan tadbirkor). The award was conferred ahead of Entrepreneurs’ Day, which is celebrated annually on 20 August.

The title “Distinguished Entrepreneur of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was established by Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. ZRU-952 of 30 August 2024. According to the Law, it is awarded to “leading and enterprising executives and founders of business entities who have developed new and profitable business directions, made a significant contribution to the country’s economic growth and the welfare of its people through the broad introduction of innovations, the construction of modern production capacities, the expansion of export potential, the active attraction of foreign and domestic investment, and the creation of new jobs. The title also recognises those who set an example of cooperation with state institutions, active participation in social projects, and extensive experience in business management.”

Korzinka Go launches in Andijan: same great prices, straight to your door

6.08.2025, Andijan, Uzbekistan - Korzinka, Uzbekistan’s largest retail chain, has announced the launch of its online supermarket Korzinka Go in the city of Andijan. The new service offers customers the same great prices and product range that Korzinka customers are used to but adds the convenience of delivery to the customer’s door in under 60 minutes.

Korzinka Go operates every day of the week, from 07:45 to 23:00hrs. The online supermarket features the full range of food, household essentials and baby products available at Korzinka stores, all at the same great value prices. Customers can access the online store by downloading the Korzinka Go app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Korzinka Go is free to download. A dedicated promotions section in the Korzinka Go app allows customers to easily find the best deals and fill their baskets with discounted items.

Customers can choose a convenient delivery time in the app or choose Express Delivery to get their order delivered within one hour - and if the courier is late, delivery is free. App users can track the assembly and delivery of their order in real time, so there are no surprises.

“Andijan is now the third city after Tashkent and Samarkand to welcome Korzinka Go,” said Semyon Morgunov, Director of E-Commerce at Korzinka. “Everyday shopping is becoming easier and more convenient. Everything from fresh vegetables to  household goods can now be ordered via the app. If a customer is not satisfied with the quality of any item, Korzinka Go will issue a refund.
