FAQ related to JioDive VR Headset

Can I wear spectacles while using JioDive?

Yes, JioDive can be worn over your spectacles. Moreover, you can adjust the focus up to a certain level as per your eye power. To do that, use both the side and centre wheels till you achieve a sharper image.

What phone do I need to use JioDive?

You need an Android or iOS phone with a display size between 4.7 and 6.7 inches. Compatible OS versions are Android 9 and above & iOS 15 and above. The phone must be equipped with a gyroscope and an accelerometer.

To check if your phone is compatible, install the JioImmerse app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store. After that, go to the profile section and click on phone compatibility.

Do I need to install any app on my phone to use JioDive?

You must install the JioImmerse app from Google Playstore or Apple Appstore.

Do I need to be a Jio customer to use the JioImmerse app?

Requires Jio number for JioImmerse app login. Works with any network or Wi-Fi.

How to start using JioDive?

Step 1: Scan the QR code on the box and install the JioImmerse app.

Step 2: Give all permissions as suggested and log in with your Jio number.

Step 3: Select the JioDive option and tap on "Watch on JioDive".

Step 4: Open the front cover to place the phone between the phone support clip and the lenses in JioDive and close the front cover.

Step 5: Put on the JioDive headset and adjust the straps to fit comfortably on your head.

Step 6: Use the center and side wheels to adjust picture quality for the best viewing experience.

I am not able to installing the JioImmerse app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

If you are unable to install the JioImmerse app, please follow the following steps:

Check if your phone is compatible with JioDive

If compatible, then please check if your phone has sufficient storage

(We recommended maintaining 1 GB or more free space in your phone for an optimal and seamless experience.)

Restart the phone and then check if you’re able to install it

Check if the app is available in your country or region on Google Play Store or Apple App Store (if not in India)

Which Android permissions are required to use JioImmerse app?

Battery Optimisation: Please disable this for a better experience and high performance while using the JioImmerse app on JioDive.

Phone System Settings (brightness and auto-rotate control): To control the brightness level and launch the application in portrait or landscape mode.

Phone State: personalise your experience with the JioImmerse app.

Access Storage: To upload a photo while creating your profile.

What should I do to get a sharper and clear image on my JioDive Headset?

If you are not getting a clear image, here are some steps you can take to try to fix the issue:

Use the IPD setting (centre wheel) to adjust the distance between the lenses to remove the double image.

Adjust the focus using the diopter setting (side wheels) to improve the clarity of the image.

Adjust the headset position using the straps to find the position that provides the clearest image.

Clean the lenses for any dust, smudges, and fingerprints with a microfiber cloth.

How to interact with VR apps on JioDive with the click button?

There is a click button at the bottom right side of the JioDive. You will see a white dot on your screen. Move your head and point this dot to the action button and then press the button softly. The click should be registered, and the desired action should take place.
