Introduction

How it Works: Colt M1911 is an educational/interactive app that shows users the internal workings of the Colt M1911 pistol through realistic 3D models and animations. Users can explore components, see how parts move during firing, unloading, and reloading, and get a deeper understanding of its internal mechanisms. It offers various display modes (X-ray, cutaway), slow-motion replay of actions, and even augmented reality so you can place the weapon model in your environment and photograph it. Accessories like different grip styles can be added, and there’s a “Tap’n’Hide” mode letting you hide or reveal specific parts by tapping.

Common Questions

--I don't understand—what is the point of your apps? Why do people need them?

Our apps allow users to explore how things were made and how they work—all for a low, affordable price in place of purchasing the real thing. A lot of people enjoy taking things apart and putting them together as a hobby. Other people have expressed interest in our apps as a precise technical manual for maintenance and mechanical work.

--Why should I pay for each model instead of purchasing one app with all of the models?

This is because we are constantly releasing new models. This is not a static, frozen project—it’s more like a TV series with a new episode each week (yes, we plan to release new models often). If you are not interested in purchasing each model individually, we do offer users the option to purchase lifetime access to all existing and upcoming models.

--Why guns? There are many different mechanical structures to disassemble or reassemble.

Guns are only the first step. In the future, we plan to create models for products besides guns.

--Your models look very realistic. Can I create real firearms using your models as references?

Unfortunately, you cannot. The purpose of our apps is not to show you how to create the guns, but to show you how they were made and how they work. We do not provide any blueprints or specific details about the technology or steps required for production.

--I love your apps! How can I help you?

Wow, there are a lot of ways to help us. First of all -- if you are owner of some rare or antique models (guns for example) -- you can make photo/video references for creating this model. If you have some technical or military experience -- it's very valuable for us. We are constanly looking for experts for reviewing/examining our models. Please contact us !

If you are not a collector or an expert, you can still help us by telling your friends and family about our apps. Please feel free to share links to our website or post reviews online or on iTunes.

--I am a professional artist and I am interesting in working with your team. Can I work remotely?

Yes, you can. In the past, we have successfully worked with artists over long distances. Please contact us with your portfolio.

About Noble Empire

--Noble Empire’s main goal is to create entertainment applications for interactive manipulation and in-depth analysis of real-life objects. At the end of 2010, we acquired VK Team, a developer whose technology was used for the “Gun Disassembly” iOS projects. These high-tech products allowed users to disassemble, assemble, and operate modern firearms on the Apple iOS devices (iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch).

--Following our acquisition, our dev team is now twice as large and consists of more than twenty experienced programmers and artists. With these increased possibilities, we plan on expanding the “Gun Disassembly” application to all mobile and desktop platforms -- PC, Mac, iPhone, Android, Windows Phone 7, and others. In 2011, we will also release at least one new model per month.

--Refund Policy (for users who pay with 2Checkout)

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, within 60 days from the purchase date, we will fully refund the cost of your order.

The game just won’t start on your ZTE Tempo X. You click, but nothing happens. It's frustrating. Check the app. Make sure it's updated. Maybe restart your phone. Sometimes a simple reboot does the trick. If that doesn't help, try reinstalling the game. Uninstall it, then get it back from the store. That might solve the issue.

There's an awesome app for building 1911s. It makes the process so much easier and fun. By the way, if anyone has a full-size 1911 frame for sale, that would be fantastic!
