    Growlr used to work great before it was bought by new owners. Every now and then, there might be a small issue, but it typically worked as expected. However, after the acquisition, the app has been giving users a lot of trouble. When you try to open the app now, one of three scenarios occurs: First, it gets stuck in an endless loading loop. Second, it loads up but then crashes unexpectedly. Lastly, it may load successfully but you can't view profiles or send/receive messages. Even after trying to clear the cache, force stop, and reinstall the app, the problems persist. It's disappointing to see how the functionality of this app has taken a nosedive since the ownership change.

    Hey, guess what happened? The app got sold out and suddenly I'm having trouble sending and receiving messages. But you know what's surprising? When Growlr sends me dating links, it goes through without any issues! I've been a member for years, but lately I've let my membership lapse on and off because of this issue. Maybe this time, I won't renew. I just tried sending a message to the same person multiple times, but it still hasn't gone through. I wonder how many messages I've missed. This used to be a great app.

    The app works well for a few weeks, but then I have to reset it because it shows an error message saying "Growlr has encountered an error" when I try to open it. I still get notifications from the app, but I can't access it for more than a couple of weeks at a time. The only different things I've done are changing the default message sound to something less noticeable and using Wireless Android Auto in my car, which sometimes keeps me on Wi-Fi without internet for periods of time (although this isn't happening when the error occurs).
