Scanner not finding all music
If GoneMAD Music Player does not find all your music try the following:
Make sure you are updated to the latest version of GMMP and run a scan. 3.0.8 had some scanner related fixes that might fix the issue.
Disable any power saver / battery optimization settings for GMMP. This can prevent the scanner from running. https://dontkillmyapp.com/samsung and https://dontkillmyapp.com has information how to disable things that can kill the app.
Verify all your music folders are listed in Scanner Settings -> Scan Paths and run a scan
sdcards are typically mounted under something like: /storage/F842-2931 (The actual folder name is different for every sdcard)
How to find and add the SDCard to the scanner.
Settings -> Scanner -> Edit Scan Paths
1. Press the top tight icon, a folder with a "+" inside.
2. By default the internal "emulated" root folder opens to show what Android allows you to see.
3. Press the left arrow <-- at the top of the list beside where the list shows "storage"
4. This should take you back one level and show the path to the SD card, usually a pair of 4 digit hex codes with a dash in the middle (i.e. 485E-1EE9)
5. Press that path name and continue to drill down into that folder to find your main Music folder, then hit "Select" at the bottom of the screen to add it to the scanner (repeat if you have more than one main music folder)
In general, a single "Music" or similarly named folder should have all of your music files. You can have additional subfolders that add layers for Artists, Year, Albums, etc. followed by the track info.
Good Example: {SD card address}/Music/Beatles/Abbey Road/01 Come Together.m4a is acceptable
Bad Example: {SD card address}/01 Come Together.m4a is NOT acceptable

Duplicate files showing up in library
Duplicate files in the library is usually caused by having multiple folders in the scan paths pointing to the same folder. sdcards are not case sensitive, so listing /storage/sdcard/Music and /storage/sdcard/music will point to the same location but there is no way for GMMP to know they are the same.
How to fix:
Ensure scanner settings -> edit scan paths is only pointing to your music folders and you dont have any duplicate entries like mentioned above.
Delete the database under the advanced scanner settings
Run a new scan
