The app worked well until the August 2022 update. Suddenly, the widget vanished. Now, managing the lights only happens through the app. Opening the app takes forever. Without the widget, using the Genio lights feels like a hassle. Turning on the lights with the switch is much quicker. Buying these lights right now seems pointless. Please, bring back the widget!

Absolutely fantastic experience! Used it daily for five years, no issues at all. It powers on instantly, and the lighting schedule works perfectly every time. Super efficient! I have various types, even Christmas lights. The only downside is the lack of options for stick Christmas lights with a star on top, which I've been using for two years. Still, highly recommended!

The light shines bright, but it flickers a bit. The app links up fine with the bulb, and both have solid internet connection. Still, the light stays stubbornly unresponsive. Switching it on and off the old-fashioned way feels like the only option. Sometimes trying to take the easy route leads to more hassle. Just get up and flip that switch. It might save time in the long run.

Every update strips away features. No more widget support. The tap-to-run function? It's useless now. The only thing that stands out is the thrill of wondering how they’ll make this app worse next time. Maybe the next update will take away my ability to control my device entirely. Third review. I've had some issues before, but the updates and support have really impressed me. Right now, I’m frustrated that I can't disable and enable an automation in the same tap-to-run action. I had a specific tap-to-run set up where this feature would have been essential. Tomorrow, I'll reach out to support about this because it feels like a pretty basic functionality to be missing.

It used to work well, but now it's a glitchy nightmare. It wasn't like this before. No idea why it changed or why it has lasted over a year. A serious warning for anyone with epilepsy. This is important! I live where power outages happen often. When the power goes out, even for a few seconds, the lights go wild when they come back on. They flash like crazy, full brightness, almost like a strobe light. You can't turn it off until it reconnects after about five minutes.

The app was glitchy before, but now it won't work at all. Last night, everything ran smoothly. Now, I open the app and see an error message pop up, then it closes immediately. The message says, "If the app's integrity check fails, it will close automatically." I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but nothing changes. My husband's app works perfectly fine. I can't access mine at all.

I have two RGB light bulbs and a motion sensor. They work amazingly well. I love coming home to colorful lights. The motion sensor gives me peace of mind. If someone enters my house while I'm away, my phone alerts me. It’s great, but I wish there was a better widget for quick control of my devices without opening the app. That would make it perfect.

It's frustrating when you can't access the settings page for your devices. The on-off switches seem to take forever to respond, sometimes a whole minute just to activate from the home page device list. However, the tap to run scenes works perfectly fine. This points to a different issue than the network. It’s really annoying not being able to control lights as you wish or change their colors. Basic functions shouldn't be this difficult. On the flip side, those Philips Hue devices outdoors operate without any issues at all.
