When you “advertise yourself”, you create a public ad in the AutoScout24 marketplace and will receive inquiries from private individuals and dealers with whom you can schedule viewing appointments and test drives and negotiate the selling price.

With "Direct Sale," you can sell your car directly to one of our verified AutoScout24 dealers. You provide your vehicle's basic information and receive an initial online price estimate in the next step. You then select one of our verified dealers and book an appointment—the following day or up to two weeks in advance. The final selling price is determined by our AutoScout24 dealer after a professional on-site inspection of your vehicle. This ensures that all relevant criteria, such as special equipment and the condition of your vehicle, are taken into account.

The sales process depends on your chosen appointment time. You can sell your vehicle here within 24 hours .

What costs do I incur as a seller?
