Create your business account on Fresha, the leading software for beauty and wellness. Learn how adding customizable services, inviting your team, and scheduling shifts can lead to your first appointment. Go on to grow with Fresha, streamlining operations, attracting more clients, and boosting bookings.

Calendar and schedule

Take charge of your schedule with Fresha. Manage appointments, team availability, and resources in one place with a flexible calendar built for beauty and wellness businesses. Accessible on any device, it lets you schedule appointments, block breaks, and stay fully booked with smart tools that optimize availability and minimize gaps.

From the main menu along the bottom of your screen, tap on the Calendar icon.

When using the Day view, tap directly on a time slot in the calendar and select Add appointment to open a new appointment.   

At the top of the appointment view, tap on Add client and select an Existing client, create a New client, or leave the appointment as a Walk-in.

Under Services, tap Add service to search for or select a service from the list to add it to the appointment. 

To add more services to the appointment, tap the Add service button. 

To customize service details, simply tap on the service.

Tap the Save button at the bottom to schedule the appointment in your calendar.

The client will receive a confirmation message based on your notification settings. If appointment protection is enabled, they’ll be required to make an upfront payment or add their card details to secure the booking.

Fresha Hires British Hairdresser of the Year to lead global hair education

Fresha today announces that Josh Lamonaca, British Men’s Hairdresser of the Year and co-founder of the world-famous, multi-location MENSPIRE men’s barber brand, will join the company as its first-ever Head of Hair Education.

Fresha is known globally as the leading booking software powering the beauty and wellness industry. But this hire reflects a simple belief: technology only matters if it helps people build better businesses, and the future of this industry is shaped behind the chair, inside salons, and by professionals building their livelihoods every day.

In his new role, Josh will lead Fresha’s global approach to hair education, working directly with professionals to help them turn skill into sustainable, profitable growth. His remit spans technical education, commercial thinking, content, and community-led initiatives - with a strong focus on real-world application, not theory.

Josh Lamonaca is one of the most respected hairdressers of his generation. A multiple award winner and British Hairdresser of the Year, he is also the creative and educational director behind MENSPIRE, where he has spent years developing talent, mentoring teams, and embedding education into the core of the business. As a global figurehead of the industry, Josh has travelled internationally to teach and support stylists at different stages of their careers, helping build a culture of continuous learning grounded in practical, commercial reality. 

MENSPIRE joined Fresha last year as its platform of choice, adopting Fresha’s all-in-one technology to scale its business, optimise operations, and support the next phase of growth for the barber chain. Through close collaboration with Josh and the MENSPIRE team, this appointment emerged as a natural progression, grounded in first-hand experience of the impact Fresha has on businesses and the practical utility of the platform.
