Energy Bar

Adds a configurable Energy Ring around the camera lens indicating current Battery level. Dive into the various configuration options, not only you can quickly glance and get the battery info but, Energy Ring adds an accent to your phone's camera lens.

Got a full charge? The Ring will be a 360 degree wrap around the front camera lens. Battery depleting? So will the arc of Energy Ring.

Out of the box features:-

- Energy Ring can be configured from a width of 1 pixel to a donut thick ring

- Energy Ring puts almost 0% load on CPU, as it wakes up only to reflect any change in battery level

- Energy Ring's direction can be configured as clockwise/bidirectional/anti-clockwise

- Energy Ring can hide on fullscreen content (apps, videos, images, games etc)

- Energy Ring can be configured to change colors automatically depending on the live battery level

- Energy Ring could have a mono color/multiple color segments/gradient (pro)

- You can literally assign any color in the world for your favorite configuration

- Energy Ring has a number of cool animations whenever a power source is plugged into your device

All that is cool! But what about Energy Ring consuming Battery?!

This is one of the most exciting question for me to answer. Energy Ring more than anything understands that you need to utilize your battery efficiently (after all, that's why you installed the App, right? ;)). Energy Ring sits on the screen silently putting almost 0% load on CPU, if battery level changes, Android wakes up Energy Ring. Once awake, Energy Ring quickly updates itself and goes back to sleep. And to be that extra efficient, the Ring goes on deep sleep when you turn off the screen, meaning it doesn't even read changes in battery level when the screen is off.

Accessibility Service Requirement:

Android requires Energy Ring to run as an Accessibility Service, to be able to display on Lock Screen. It does not read/monitor any data, whatsoever. This is especially useful for people who have disability to read numbers and work better with visual data.

No charging animation?

Settings > Accessibility > Visibility enhancements > Remove Animations > uncheck if it's checked.

Energy Ring disappearing on Xiaomi devices?

Setting > Apps > Manage apps > Energy Ring > Turn on Autostart.

Screen burn-in:

The original variant of the App, Energy Bar has been used over several years by users on their AMOLED devices, there has been no complains. But there is no claim that it may not happen.

Re-enable after exiting power saving mode:

If you enter into power saving mode, Energy Ring will be disabled by the System, to re-activate you must restart your device.

Using Guide

Energize your mobile experience with Energy Ring - General Edition!, an intuitive battery level indicator designed specifically for devices with punch-hole cameras. At its core, this tool provides a creative and aesthetically pleasing way to display your battery status by encircling the camera lens with a customizable ring that represents the battery charge.

The app shines in its ability to be tailored to individual preferences. Users can adjust the thickness from a slim 1-pixel line to a thicker circle, ensuring a perfect fit for any screen. It respects your device's resources, with a negligible CPU load, activating only when there are changes in the battery level to display. The orientation can be set to rotate in various directions, and it smartly hides during fullscreen activities to maintain an uninterrupted viewing experience.

Using Experience

Color configurations are virtually limitless; set monochrome, multiple color segments, or gradient themes as per your liking. Additionally, this battery indicator changes colors dynamically to reflect the current level of your battery, so you are always informed at a glance. It also offers delightful animations when your device is connected to a power source, elevating the charging process to an engaging visual event.

Not only is it pleasing to the eye, but it's also engineered for efficiency. It enters a deep sleep state when your screen is off, ensuring no unnecessary drain on your battery. Furthermore, the game ensures ease of access, functioning as an Accessibility Service to assist users with reading difficulties.

Concerns like screen burn-in are minimized, as the app's older variant, Energy Bar, has proven its reliability over several years without significant complaints.

To cap it all off, it is fully accessible, requiring minimal permissions and not interfering with personal data. If ever you notice the indicator missing, a simple adjustment in your device's settings can bring it back, adding a touch of sleekness to your device's functionality. Energy Ring - General Edition! redefines how you monitor your battery life, merging elegance with utility to enhance the smart device experience.

I really like this app. I bought the full version. The battery widget is awesome. But, around 6 months back, Android started asking me to check the settings for this app. It happens randomly, usually just a day or two after I've turned it on, and then the widget stops working not long after. I have to toggle it off and then back on. The developer is trying to find a solution for this issue. I'm a big fan of this widget. Update: The most recent Android update seems to have brought back the popup message problem on my Flip3.

Hey there! So, I found this amazing app for energy ring that you can use. You have the option to add cool features like color animation when you receive a notification. And hey, I was a bit confused about the Galaxy device and some other features mentioned in the app. What happens if I format my device? I couldn't find a login page or something similar where I can check for my ad-free subscription status and contributions made to the developers.

I love how I can easily check my battery level. But lately, it just shuts down unexpectedly. Even though I can see it's still on in Accessibility under Installed Apps, I have to restart it for the ring to show up again. *Update* It looks like it turns off randomly when I connect the charging cable.

I tried this app without paying for it, and it started getting worse. An recent update added a splash screen that displays battery info but is actually just used to show more ads. I wouldn't mind if I could switch it off, but that option is only available for premium users. It feels like a misuse of the permission needed for the app to overlay the screen. Now, no one can turn off these ads or the splash screen.

Oh man, so I wasn't happy with this update that came through with all these ads popping up all over the place. Like, come on! I get it, they gotta make their money somehow. So, OK, I splurged on the developer support thing to get rid of those darn pop ups. But guess what? They're still coming up, and yep, you guessed it, they've got ads in 'em too! What's even the point of paying at that point, right? It feels like a sneaky move because that feature I paid for just ain't working at all. Just frustrating.

This widget used to be awesome, but now it's bombarding my phone with full screen ads when I start it up and even has ads in the menus. I already paid for it, so this is totally not okay. I've cleared the cache and updated to the latest version, but what the developer is saying in their responses doesn't seem to match up. I'm uninstalling it now, there are other tools out there that offer the same features and also get rid of ads when you pay to remove them. It's a pity.

I bought the Small Contribution 1 Device No Ads before the premium features were merged. I really wanted the gradient feature. The app has been working perfectly for me. You can adjust the ring to fit your notch precisely. I decided to make mine visible even in full screen mode, which helps me a lot when I'm gaming. However, after some updates, the app seemed to have forgotten that I had already paid to remove ads. I contacted support, and within a day, the app updated itself and showed that I had indeed made the payment. The support team was fantastic!

I tried the app on my Oneplus 9 Pro running Android 12 after updating it and it worked great! It's awesome because it creates a battery ring around the punch hole camera, which allowed me to remove the regular battery icons from the status bar. This way, I now have more space on the status bar. The app really helps make the punch hole camera more functional by turning it into a cool battery ring instead of it just being there taking up space.
