DSW utilizes the Accessibility Service solely to interpret ride app screens and gathers the following information:

- Platform (the app where the ride request was received)

- Distance

- Travel time (boarding and disembarking duration)

- Total earnings

- Earnings of R$/KM (derived from total earnings, travel time, and distance)

- Earnings of R$/HOUR (derived from total earnings, travel time, and distance)

- Destination (saved in your local history for future reference)

DriveSocial Panic Key – How to configure?

Setting up the PaniKey is quite simple and only requires that your smartphone supports Bluetooth LE and that you are using DriveSocial from version 1.9 onwards.

To start the setup in DriveSocial 1.9, follow these steps:

Tap on the main menu and then tap on Settings

In the upper right corner of the screen, tap on the three dots, and then tap on DriveSocial Devices

Turn on your PaniKey (hold the button until the PaniKey beeps twice)

Wait for your PaniKey to be detected by DriveSocial

After detecting the DriveSocial PaniKey device, tap on the + button

After pairing, the device will be listed in ‘Paired Devices‘

Tap on the button to the right of the device name (switcher) to Enable the PaniKey

DriveSocial will attempt to connect to the PaniKey, once the connection is complete, a notification should appear. If this is the first time that PaniKey is being paired, a Premium Account voucher must be added to your account. To check if there is a voucher available for you after pairing PaniKey, follow these steps:

Open your profile, tapping on the place where your photo and name are on DriveSocial;

If there is a voucher, a message should be displayed, tap it and confirm its activation.

Additional settings for DSW and DriveSocial on Xiaomi

Traditionally, Xiaomi and its Android customization known as MIUI are known as one of the most problematic Android modifications because they do not respect the standards for running applications in the background, causing forced ‘stops’ in the apps, which makes DSW and DriveSocial fail when they are in the background.

Background Autostart Permission

In version 14 of MIUI, a new permission was implemented to start applications in the background. You must grant this permission to DSW and/or DriveSocial. If you use both apps, you must repeat these steps twice (once for each app).

Go to Settings -> Apps -> App (DriveSocial and/or DSW) -> Permissions -> Background autostart

MIUI Optimizations

MIUI optimizations have become more relevant in version MIUI 12, but this option may be present in older versions as well. It is hidden in the Developer Options, so you need to enable the ‘Developer Mode’ on your phone first.

To do this, tap 10x on the MIUI version in the ‘About phone’ screen.

Tweak from MIUI 12

To allow DSW and/or DriveSocial to run in the background, you need to check some permissions in the App Info.

Make sure the ‘Battery Saver’ option is set to ‘No restrictions’

Make sure there are no restrictions on running the app in the background;

Make sure there are no restrictions on background data usage.

Power Management

Please enable these options:

Settings > Advanced Settings -> Battery Manager > Power Plan and set it to Performance

Settings > Apps > DriveSocial and/or DSW > Battery > Power intensive and select Keep running even when the screen is off.

Keep the Power Saving options disabled.
