# How do I find food?

From the side menu, select the column Foods . In the search engine on the screen that opens, write the name of the food you are looking for. If you want to search for food in a specific category, first click on it and then write the name of the food.

# How do I find food by barcode?

From the side menu, select the column Foods . At the top of the screen that opens, there is an image of a barcode. After clicking on it, a window opens with the option to scan the barcode of the food.

• To use this functionality, you do not need to be logged into your account via Facebook/Google.

# How do I create a food by barcode?

From the side menu, select the column Foods . At the top of the screen that opens, there is a picture of a barcode. After clicking on it, a window opens with the option to scan the food barcode. After scanning the barcode, a window opens in which you will have the option to choose whether you want to add the food.

Then you need to fill in information about the food such as the brand/manufacturer, product name, description and category. After entering them, you will see a “Next” button. You will also have the option to enter the nutritional information of the food. After entering them, a “Create” button will be displayed.

• To use this functionality, you need to be logged into your account via Facebook/Google.

• To add food, the nutritional information must be for 100 g.

# How can I edit/delete a food entered via barcode?

Food entered via barcode cannot be edited or deleted by the user. You need to write to us on Facebook or at email contact@caloriecounter.bg so that we can do this for you.

# How do I add food for breakfast/lunch/dinner or a snack?

Select the desired food, open it and click on the picture to the left next to the weight. Then you will be able to choose the type of meal.

# Where can I see the foods I have already consumed from yesterday/today/tomorrow?

From the side menu, select the History column. There you will find the foods consumed from today, divided into categories breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks.

To see your consumption for another day, use the arrows ⬅️ or ➡️.

# How do I duplicate food/foods for another day?

From the side menu, select the History column. On the screen that opens, you will find the foods consumed. Use the arrows ⬅️, ➡️ to go to the day where the food you want to duplicate is located. Swipe the food you want to duplicate from right to left. A duplicate button will appear. Click on it and on the screen that opens, enter the weight and the day you want to duplicate the food.

• You can also duplicate an entire meal, breakfast/lunch/dinner or snack.

# How do I mark a food as a favorite?

After finding the desired food through the search engine, there is an asterisk ⭐ to the right of it. When you click on it, it fills in yellow and is saved as a favorite.

• To find the food marked as a favorite, you can click on the asterisk located above the food search engine.

# How do I create my own product?

From the side menu, select the Foods column. Click on My Recipes. In the upper right corner you will see a ➕ button. Click it and select New product. Enter the name and nutrients of the product and save them. After that, you will be able to find the product through the food search engine.

# How do I create my own recipe, consisting of multiple products?

From the side menu, select the Food column. Click on My Recipes. In the upper right corner you will see a ➕ button. Click it and select New Recipe. Enter the name and ingredients of the recipe and save them. Then you will be able to find the recipe using the food search engine.

# How do I edit an already created product/recipe?

From the side menu, select the Food column. Then select the My Recipes category. Then find the recipe and hold down on it for a long time. You will be able to edit it. After editing, save the changes using the save button ✔.

• It is mandatory that the food be opened from the My Recipes column in order to be able to edit it.

# How do I share my recipe with a friend?

From the side menu, select the Food column. Click on My Recipes. Select and click on the food you want to share. In the upper right corner you will find a share button. A screen with a search engine will open. Type the name of the person you want to send the recipe to.

• Only foods from the My Recipes column can be shared.

• The recipient must have installed the app and logged in via Facebook/Google.

    A frustrating bug exists. Users cannot edit calorie counts for custom foods. This issue makes adding new foods nearly impossible. It's not a recent thing; it has lingered around for weeks, even months. Many people feel stuck without a solution.
