Chattoo

1. App Overview

Chattoo is a social video chat app that allows users to meet new people and communicate through live video conversations. It offers two ways to discover conversation partners: browsing user profiles through Explore the World or using Random Matching to connect with people based on shared interests and preferences.

In addition to live video chats, users can exchange photos, GIFs, and videos, build a friend list, and make voice or video calls with existing connections. The app combines user discovery, multimedia messaging, and real-time communication in one social platform.

2. Key Features

Explore the World

Browse profiles of users from different countries and choose people you'd like to meet. Users can select their preferred conversation partners rather than relying entirely on automatic matching.

Random Matching

Find conversation partners through an automatic matching system that considers users' interests and preferences. This provides an alternative to browsing profiles manually.

Live Video Chat

Have face-to-face conversations with other users through real-time video calls.

Multimedia Sharing

Exchange photos, GIFs, and videos during conversations. The app also supports self-destructing media that disappears after viewing.

Friends and Voice Calls

Add people to a personal friend list to maintain connections beyond initial conversations. Existing friends can be contacted again through voice or video calls.

Privacy and Account Protection

Register without connecting a Facebook or other external social media account. Chattoo also states that it avoids collecting unnecessary personal information.
