How can I identify a plant?

To identify plants using the app, tap on the Photo icon on the Search page—you'll be able to identify plants using the camera.

- You can photograph flowers, leaves, or an entire plant

- Avoid having multiple species in one frame—it can lead to misidentification

    Wow! The app is really cool. It has awesome features and you can tell that a lot of effort went into making it. There's tons of information about all of my plants, and I've gained a lot of knowledge from using it. I gave it 4 stars because I wish I could just pay for all the features upfront instead of having to subscribe. I'm not a fan of subscription services, especially for something like plants. I really care about my plants, but I could easily set reminders and look up information on Google if I needed to. The free features are perfect for someone who is just starting out with indoor gardening.

    I uninstalled the app real quick because it only recognized one out of my six sample plants. It kept asking me to subscribe and that was annoying. I get that they need to make money, but maybe they could offer a free trial for 24 hours since it's a planning app. Charging so much for just identifying one plant out of six is not cool. I even had to send a plant picture to help improve their database. So, I decided to uninstall it.

    This app is amazing! It can recognize all the plants I photograph, and it's really precise. The only problem for me is the monthly/annual subscription. I'd rather pay $3-5 as a one-time fee. Paying monthly doesn't work for me since I'm only home half of the year.

    The app seemed promising at first, but when I used it to figure out what was wrong with my sick plants, it only said they were either under or over watered. I decided to give it a shot because of the good reviews, but my previous app provided more detailed information like whether the issue was abiotic or biotic. It helped me save several plants. I even paid for this new app, but I still had to endure ads. I'm extremely dissatisfied and would like a refund.

    Setting reminders for each plant is amazing! It prevents me from overwatering some plants and neglecting others. I'm seeing new growth on plants that haven't grown in forever, my African violet is going to bloom soon after not blooming for 6 months, and I finally figured out why our palm plant always has brown tips. This app is fantastic!

    I really like the plant identification feature and all the information provided. However, I don't like that I have to buy a year-long subscription and can only use the photo identification twice before getting locked out. It's so frustrating that I'm only giving it 2 stars. I know you need to make money by selling memberships, but please find a way that doesn't make the app irritating to use.

    I love this app! It helps me take better care of my plants. They're thriving thanks to the diagnostic and identifying scans. I have two suggestions: 1. Please add an option for metric water measurements. 2. Adjusting pot size with sliders is frustrating. It would be easier to manually enter the size or use increase/decrease buttons. It's so hard to get the slider in the right spot!

    You should add an option to undo tasks if you mark them complete by mistake. It would be better if the timeline could be reversed, showing earlier tasks when scrolling down. Future dates can be viewed by clicking "See All." It's more helpful to see when previous tasks were completed rather than future dates. Also, it would be great to set a thumbnail image and have preset reminder intervals that match care recommendations and can be customized.

    Don't pay for this app. I bought the yearly subscription but when my old phone broke, I got a new one and reinstalled the app. However, my garden and all my notes were gone. It was a waste of money.
