With the Bistro.sk application, you have the freedom to order your favorite meals from anywhere. Featuring a broad selection of restaurants, supermarkets, and convenience stores, you can savor a wide range of options including burgers, pizza, pasta, sushi, salads, and much more—all delivered right to your home.
In need of some grocery items? Simply launch the app, select ‘groceries’, and add items to your cart. From baby food to flowers, beer, wine, beauty essentials, ice cream, chocolate, milk, fruits, and bread, our collaborators provide an extensive assortment.
How it operates:
Placing an order is straightforward. You can either choose a previously saved address, input your postcode or street name, or allow the app to detect your location automatically. Next, simply select your preferred restaurant or store and pick your desired items.
Monitor your order until it arrives:
Keep track of your order from the kitchen or store directly to your door with our Food Tracker®. We will even notify you through push alerts regarding your order's progress. Typically, the delivery time ranges from 30 to 45 minutes for your meals or groceries.

Our story
Connecting consumers to local partners
Just Eat Takeaway.com began operating in 2000 in the Netherlands, when founder and CEO Jitse Groen, had the idea that food ordering should be made simple and easy during a family party. This led to the launch of the online food delivery platform, Thuisbezorgd.nl
Thuisbezorgd.nl expanded rapidly in the Netherlands and internationally, rebranding to Takeaway.com in 2011. The company went public in 2016, after completing its Initial Public Offering on Euronext Amsterdam.
In 2020, after achieving significant European scale through a blend of acquisitions and organic growth, Takeaway.com merged with Just Eat, a successful food delivery company established in Denmark in 2001.
Today, Just Eat Takeaway.com is a leading global online food delivery marketplace, connecting consumers with 356,000 partners across 17 countries. Our proposition benefits both consumers and partners, and while partners are primarily restaurants, we have expanded our offering to include grocery and retail stores to service many more ordering moments.
From a Friday-night takeaway to a last-minute flower bouquet, our vision is to empower everyday convenience for consumers, partners, employees and couriers.

Our marketplace benefits
As an online food delivery marketplace, Just Eat Takeaway.com facilitates the online ordering, payment and occasionally, fulfilment of orders. We utilise a hybrid model which builds on our marketplace heritage (where partners do their own delivery) with delivery service (for partners without their own delivery capabilities). This model ensures consumers have the widest possible variety of partners to order from.
Consumers can order via our mobile applications and our website. Our primary source of revenue is derived mainly from the commissions we charge our partners, which are based on the Gross Transaction Value (GTV) of orders processed through our marketplace, while to a lesser extent, it comes from other services such as online payment services, sales of merchandise and packaging, and promoted placement. In addition, we also derive revenue from delivery fees charged to consumers on orders for which Just Eat Takeaway.com is responsible for the Delivery.
