Q: I ordered an eBook but it is not showing in the viewer. What should I do?

A: Please check the order status on mobile browser or Aladdin shopping app under 'My Account', or on PC go to 'My Account' > 'eBook Order'.

If it shows "Order Preparation" instead of "Order Complete," it may be due to incomplete order processing caused by a network issue, resulting in the purchased history not showing on the viewer.

Please report to Aladdin's PC customer center at 1:1 inquiry > eBooks > Fault Reporting Center or contact them by phone (1544-2514) for assistance.

If the order is in "Order Complete" status but still not showing in the viewer, there might be a content error. Contact customer center at 1:1 inquiry > eBooks > Fault Reporting Center or call (1544-2514).

Q: The purchased book is not showing in the purchase list.

A: Pull down the purchase list screen to sync all purchases. If it still doesn't appear after syncing, there might be issues with the order processing. Please report to customer center at 1:1 inquiry > eBooks > Fault Reporting Center or call (1544-2514).

Q: I bought a series book but they are separated.

A: It is possible that the book was not properly grouped as part of a series. After reporting to customer center, pull the purchase list screen down to perform a full sync.

Q: When trying to read a downloaded book, I get a message saying 'Cannot find book file.'

A: The book file may have been deleted by an external app (especially V3). If you use the cleaner function after downloading a book, make sure to exclude the Aladdin eBook app.

About Recommended Wizard

Q. How does the recommendation wizard recommend products? 

If you look at the recommendation wizard from a larger perspective, it recommends books based on SNS.

In other words, the interest given to the book by customers is converted into an index and converted into recommendations to other customers.

There is a lot of information that customers have left on Aladdin, but the recommendation wizard refers to product information in the purchase list, product information in the storage list, product information and star ratings in reviews and 40-character reviews.

Q. Please explain the main corners of the recommendation wizard.

1) Wizard's Selection : This is the most central service of the Recommendation Wizard. You can view the customer's areas of interest analyzed by the "Recommendation Wizard" and the products recommended for each field. A Wizard's Choice is comprised of four major chapters.

- Today’s Recommendation: Recommended products that reflect recent trends, with new book weight applied to the recommendation logic.

- Today's new book: Among the products recommended to customers, we provide products published within the past month even if the recommendation score is low.

- Special Price Products: We offer products with high discounts these days according to your field of interest.

- Fixed price free books: These are books that have been published 18 months since publication and are excluded from fixed price protection by field of interest. When using various discount coupons, it is helpful to look at the list.

2) New Book Notification : The original “New Book Notification” was a service that sent information about sequels to authors or series you are interested in by email or SMS. However, in addition to managing this service, new book notifications are automatically provided by referring to the customer’s purchase history. Here are the lists. Of course, even if you did not purchase from Aladdin, you can receive the same service by adding the product to your purchase list.

3) Selection of study neighbors : More than anything else, I think people with the most similar reading tastes are people who are study neighbors. We show you books that have recently received a lot of attention in your favorite library. We recommend libraries with similar reading tastes, but it is currently at a very incomplete level, and we are preparing a significant upgrade based on the SNS service that will soon be launched by Aladan.

In addition, please use the Interested Review Paper service, which allows you to view reviews written on products contained in the storage box.

4) Products viewed today : We show you a list of products you clicked on during the day and recommended products for each product.

Q. Please tell me the function of the arrow icon next to the product name of the recommended product.

There is a light blue arrow on the product name of the product recommended in the recommendation wizard. If you hover your mouse over this arrow, a pull-down menu like the one above will appear. Using this menu will help you create the optimal recommendation wizard.

- View product details: Click to go to the product page.

- Add to Cart: Click to add to cart.

- Add to storage list: Click to add to storage list.

- Exclude from recommendations: Click to no longer display this product in the recommendation list.

- I already bought it. When you click, this product will no longer be displayed in the recommended list and will be immediately saved to the purchase list.
