    I love getting the headlines from my favorite news station. This app, though, drives me crazy. I can't click on a new notification after viewing one story. It sends me back to the earlier story and I miss the new notification completely. Finding that new story in my news dashboard feels impossible. I've dealt with these issues for over two years now. I keep the app because I appreciate the notifications. If it were any other station, I would have uninstalled it long ago.

    The new format is frustrating. It doesn’t work like it should. After a few months with the app, I dropped my rating to 1 star. Notifications pop up with interesting stories, but clicking the links leads to a blank window every single time. Going into the app is even worse. Scrolling feels endless. When I can’t find the story, I just give up. If the goal was to cater to people with no attention span, congratulations, you nailed it.

    Videos take ages to load. News notifications pop up and if I accidentally delete them, finding the original news in the app is a real struggle. The ads are overwhelming, always at the start of each video. By the time they finish, my interest is gone. I often choose to read instead. This app brings its share of frustration. On the bright side, the news updates regularly.

    People love the news station but hate the app. It frustrates them. Alerts pop up, and they click. Then, a wait that feels like forever sets in. Videos often won’t expand. That's a big letdown. When an alert comes from the ABC7 app, the first move is to head over to KTLA or FOX for updates. If the app functioned smoothly, no need for these alternatives would exist. The bias stands out, along with the local sensationalism. It gets under people's skin. Despite all that, there’s a glimmer of hope for improvement.
