worthless for family use

1Password has been assisting individuals in managing their passwords ever since 2006. Trusted by millions of users and over 150,000 businesses, it has been recognized by The New York Times Wirecutter as offering the optimal blend of features, compatibility, security, and user-friendliness among password managers.

== Generate strong passwords ==

Utilize the integrated password generator to create robust, unpredictable passwords at a touch and access them securely on any device. 1Password is compatible across various operating systems as a browser extension, mobile app, or desktop app.

== Sign in automatically ==

Effortlessly autofill your usernames and saved passwords when logging into websites or applications. 1Password for Android seamlessly integrates with popular web browsers (such as Google Chrome) and apps, enabling hassle-free signing into your online accounts.

== Built-in two-factor authentication ==

1Password also supports the creation and autofilling of one-time two-factor authentication codes for services that use 2FA, eliminating the need for a separate authenticator app and the manual copying and pasting of codes.

== Industry-leading passkey support ==

Discover a more convenient and secure alternative to traditional passwords known as passkeys. You can generate and store passkeys in 1Password and even use them to unlock the application itself. For websites that support passkeys, generating new passwords will be a thing of the past.

== Sign in with other providers ==

If you prefer using Google or other providers to sign into websites or applications on your Android device instead of passwords, you can store and utilize those logins in 1Password as well.

== Secure and organize your digital life ==

Beyond facilitating quicker sign-ins, 1Password lets you manage credit cards, secure notes, banking information, medical records, and other confidential data, ensuring your most valuable personal details are always accessible from any device.

== Share anything, securely ==

Share passwords and any other data stored in 1Password with others, even if they don't use the application. Safely share Wi-Fi details, financial information, and other sensitive data with friends, family, or colleagues to prevent such information from being transmitted through insecure channels like email or messaging apps.

== Security made easy ==

While robust password generation significantly enhances personal security, 1Password goes beyond being just a password repository. Security features include unlocking the app with biometric authentication, as well as receiving real-time security alerts and reports through Watchtower, notifying you instantly in case your accounts are compromised in a data breach so you can take appropriate action.

== Travel Mode ==

Shield your data from prying eyes while traveling by utilizing Travel Mode. Temporarily conceal vaults containing sensitive information and restore them when you return home.

== Uniquely secure, completely private ==

Safeguard yourself and your family from cyber threats with 1Password's distinct, top-tier security measures. Since we cannot access your 1Password data, we cannot utilize, distribute, or market it.

    Wow, the Android app has serious glitches. Every time I try to reauthenticate on different Android phones, the app just stops and shows a blank screen. It also frequently fails to auto fill on various apps and websites in my browser. It's not worth the high price as it has too many flaws. It's best to look for another password manager that works well.

    You know, I've been holding onto this KeePass database for my family for more than ten years now. And let me tell you, maybe my hopes weren't too high, but oh boy! I am completely amazed by how perfectly everything is running. The autofill feature works like a charm, syncing across devices happens almost instantly, and the ability to share vaults is just fantastic. Honestly, having vaults is an essential feature, and I'm seriously considering moving my grandparents over for their peace of mind. The only thing I won't be doing is setting up 1Password as my MFA. Sure, it's a nice addition, but the whole point is to have two factors for security.

    Guess what? They finally fixed the issue! I've been a subscriber for quite some time, but had to uninstall the app. Everything was running smoothly until the update to version 8. Initially, it was acting unpredictably, but lately, it's causing my browser to crash every single time I try to open 1password or select a password. Moreover, the main app doesn't allow me to look through or search for passwords, and it solely displays the home screen widgets. It's really disappointing because now I might have to change providers just to access tablet functions. Please, bring back the previous version!

    The new update doesn't show all my items. It won't display anything starting with an A. I need to use the search feature for everything. It's annoying. The old version was fantastic. If it's not fixed soon, I'll switch to LastPass. I reached out to support, and the issue was on my end. I forgot to click into my Shared Items. Thank you, support.
